Challenges that work on the Interpersonal Relationships Competency:

Emotional Education

The teacher promotes the kind of interpersonal relationships that should be developed in the classroom.

The role of teachers and students, specifically the interpersonal relationships that arise in the classroom between the teacher and students, or between the students themselves, affects the degree of communication, as well as the emotional connections they establish and that favour a certain ambience of co-existence.

The type of communications and connections that are established influences the transfer of knowledge, as well as the correspondence between the learning proposals and models with the learning needs.

Emotional Education Challenge

Through this challenge, you learn to work with emotional intelligence, making the most of the activities and proposals relating to any specific curriculum content, as well as activities that are clearly aimed at working on these kinds of emotional skills. Examples of the types of activities you will learn to work with are activities on identification or emotion, those that promote social skills, active listening, expression of feelings and the peaceful resolution of conflicts.

This challenge comprises three skills:

1. MINDFULNESS

The aim of this skill is to practice focused and open attention, as well as teachers and students’ emotional self-control, creating a calm ambience of concentration that favours learning.
