Introduction:

The Project-based Learning Challenge enables you to develop the integration of subjects and global view of the different subjects, the connection between the learning to be worked on and their real application and the social skills relating to teamwork. It will also help you to combine the work with different kinds of learning: conceptual, procedural and attitudinal, as well as to foster key skills and abilities for students’ comprehensive education, such as creativity, individual responsibility, cooperative work, critical ability and decision making, among others.

Project-based Learning makes the learning starting point the students’ interest and effort and invites teachers to make the most of their individual and diverse energies to channel and focus them on a specific goal: the product, as the result of developing a project.

This way of working generates a process of change from disjointed planning to that of a comprehensive and inclusive way of learning.

Competency objectives:

The Project Learning Challenge enables you to develop:

  • The integration of subjects and global view of the different subjects.
  • The connection between the learning attained through the theory and its real application.
  • Social skills relating to teamwork.
  • The combination of work with different kinds of knowledge with differentiated work: conceptual, procedural and attitudinal.
  • The fostering of key skills and abilities for students’ comprehensive education, such as creativity, individual responsibility, cooperative work, critical ability and decision making, among others.
